Leuven Salsa Festival, presale until 25/11

On Sat 28th of November it's time for the Leuven Salsa Festival again (6th edition already).

13 workshops by great instructors and a great party, all of this in the great dance halls of Sportoase. Salsa, bachata, rueda, chacha, rumba, mambo, ladies' styling, salsaton, ... all brought by some of the best instructors on the Belgian scene: Wim El Guapo, Alex & Flo, Alain Vanderlinden, Sami, Carl & Maria and many more. "Intro to ..."

The 'Intro to ....' classes want to introduce you to some dance styles you may not know well yet. The November course (Mondays 9.15-10.30pm, starting on 9/11) will focus on mambo (NY style), chacha, zouk and merengue.

These classes are proposed in series of five. As an end of the year promotion we propose this course at 40 euro instead of 50! Click here to enrol.

On Friday 6th of November we'll start with what we hope will become a new tradition: the Aguaaa! parties in Sinfonia!

In this new location, in the very centre of Leuven (next to Muntstraat), we'll propose Latin parties every first and third Friday of the month. The salsa scene in Leuven needed some more parties, well here's Aguaaa! ;-)

This nice location is not very big, but big enough and the dance floor is excellent. We'll start every time at 9pm to end at 1.30am, entrance is 5 euro.

The Aguaaa! parties are organised by a LeuvenSalsa! team formed by Carl Hourcau, Bram Vandenbosch, Erwin Lenaers & Deirdre Gees.

New zumba classes in Hoeilaart and Huldenberg, new salsa classes in Brussels!

Hoeilaart & Huldenberg - On Tuesday 17/11 and on Wednesday 9/12 new zumba series start in Hoeilaart. On Sundays and Thursdays we'll also start with zumba in Huldenberg, from 22/11 on! We'll work with 'ten classes passes' that allow you to take a class where and when you want (inside a period of twelve weeks). More info on this page: click.

Brussels - We'll start a 'salsa beginners 2' series (= second level) in Brussels (Mondays 8-9.15pm) and a 'salsa beginners 1' (=absolute beginners) series as well (Mondays 9.15-10.30pm). First classes on the 23rd of November. Click here to enrol for 'beginners 1' and here to enrol for 'beginners 2'. The first class of the series can be taken as a free try out class.

Salsa & Bachata Practise Evening

I have a dream ... ;-). I see people dancing, trying, asking, helping, sweating and having fun ... I see bottles of water, sports drinks, towels spread around the dance floor ...: the Salsa & Bachata practise evenings!

Every Tuesday from 6.30 to 9pm in Romaanse Poort (Brusselsestraat 63). Everyone is welcome, no need to enrol beforehand and of course you come and leave when you want. Entrance fee is 3 euro.
