Enrol for a 2nd series of classes and pay only 60 euro (instead of 75)
If you are already enrolled in a series of ten classes you can enrol for a second series (in the same or in a different dance style) starting in January and pay only 60 instead of 75 euro. Or you can enrol in January directly for two series, you'll pay 135 euro for both.
The discounts will be even sharper if you enrol for more than two simultaneous series. Check out this page for more details.

CLASSES 6-10????
You may have noticed that it is sometimes indicated 'classes 6-10' next to a certain course. You can indeed also join a series of ten classes from class number 6 on (at the same conditions as if you started from class number 1, paying 7.5 euro a class that is).
Just make sure you have the necessary experience to join the level you've chosen!

MONDAY PARTIES IN CAFE MANGER
Every Monday we propose parties in Cafe Manger (Oude Markt 29, Leuven). The entrance is free. There'll be salsa, bachata, chacha, merengue, chacha, reggaeton, zouk ... Every Monday starting at 9pm and ending at 1am.

COACHED PRACTICUM EVERY TWO THURSDAYS
Practising is important to assimilate the material seen in the classes, to gain fluency in leading and following. Every two Thursdays we open up the dance hall in Minckelerstraat (number 186) for you to practise from 8 to 10.30pm. Bram Vandenbosch & Katrien Van Roosbroeck will be present to help you out when necessary. Entrance fee is 3 euro. No need to enrol or to bring a dance partner.

New classes starting Sunday 9th of January
From Sunday 9th of January lots of series of dance classes start again at LeuvenSalsa!: salsa, tango, bachata, zouk and ladies' technique & styling. You'll find all the possibilities on this page. In this newsletter you'll find more details on all of these styles, info on discounts, on the instructors etc.
Note that some classes are starting earlier:
- Thursday 6/1: classes salsa beg 2 and int1 in Appeltuin (class number 5)
- Friday 7/1: classes tango beg, bachata beg and bachata int (classes number 10)

SALSA
Salsa is of course the most popular of all the dance styles we are proposing. This popularity is still growing. Come and find out why this style is so popular: we propose salsa classes every day of the week apart from Fridays and Saturdays. Our instructors: Carl Hourcau, Gaëtan Collaert, Aldona Niemiro, Bie Dillen, Ditte Kimps, Caroline Vanmaele, Bob Raes and Bram Vandenbosch.

From Sunday to Thursday. New classes for absolute beginners on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

BACHATA
Bachata is another style that is constantly gaining popularity (and not only in Belgium or Europe but all over the world). Bachata parties, festivals, teachers appear everywhere. At parties dance floors fill during the bachatas. We propose bachata classes on Mondays and Fridays. Gaëtan Collaert, Ditte Kimps and Bram Vandenbosch are our bachata instructors.

SALSA LADIES' TECHNIQUE & STYLING
During the 'normal' classes in couple it is not possible to go too long into aspects that are only or mostly interesting for the followers (usually ladies, that's why we called this 'Ladies' technique & styling'). That's why we started proposing series of five classes for followers (ladies) only.
Ditte Kimps will work with you on the specific technicalities for followers (spinning, pivots, Cuban motion) and on different styling elements (body movement, arm styling, hands, head, etc).

DISCOUNT
If you are already enrolled in some series at LeuvenSalsa! you'll pay only 30 euro for these five classes (on Mondays).

TANGO
Another fantastic dance style we teach is Argentinian tango. Just like salsa or bachata, tango is not just a dance, it's a culture, an atmosphere. We are currently teaching tango on Mondays and Fridays.

ZOUK
Zouk is new at LeuvenSalsa!. Zouk is starting to spread over Belgium (after having for instance conquered the Netherlands) and we are glad to present you a free try out class zouk on Tuesday 11/1, 6.45-8pm (Romaanse Poort). Enrol for this free try out class through this link.

AND WHAT ABOUT CHACHA? RUEDA? MAMBO? KIZOMBA? MERENGUE?
We will be teaching chacha classes on a weekly basis in the near future for sure, possibly also rueda and mambo. What is for sure though is that all of these great styles will appear in the boot camps of the coming months and in the Leuven Salsa Festival.
